Privacy Policy
This privacy policy informs you about the processing of personal data when visiting treesome.at in accordance with GDPR.
Controller
The controller responsible for data processing within the meaning of GDPR: Maximilian Asamer, sole trader Lichtenauergasse 4/8, 1020 Wien, Austria Phone: +43 699 11209087 E-mail: hallo@1020.dev
General principles of data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of the website or where consent has been given. The legal bases are Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent), lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures), lit. c GDPR (legal obligation), and lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests). No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When the site is accessed, the server processes technically necessary log data — the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of the request, the resource accessed, and the browser and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (secure and stable operation of the website). Log data is deleted after 30 days unless required for the investigation of a security incident.
Cookies and local storage
treesome.at does not set any cookies that are not technically necessary and does not create user profiles. Non-essential cookies or access to local storage would only take place with your explicit consent pursuant to § 165 Abs. 3 TKG 2021 and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Analytics
Where enabled, Plausible is used as a cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics tool. Only aggregated statistics are collected — no cookies and no fingerprinting; identification of individual persons is not possible. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (reach analysis without personal reference).
Fonts
The fonts "DM Sans" and "DM Mono" are served locally from the server (self-hosted via next/font). When the page is loaded, no connection is made to Google servers or other third-party providers.
Contact and appointment booking
When you contact us by e-mail, we process your details in order to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR. The "Book an initial meeting" button leads to the external booking service Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA); that service's own privacy policy applies exclusively to its data processing.
Recipients and processors
We use carefully selected service providers: Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting; Cal.com, Inc. (USA) — appointment booking; Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) — analytics, where enabled. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all processors.
Transfer of data to third countries
For the US-based providers mentioned, processing may take place in the United States. Transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) or by standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c GDPR. A residual risk of access by authorities in the third country cannot be entirely excluded.
Retention periods
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose: server log files for 30 days; correspondence until the enquiry has been fully processed; business-relevant records for up to 7 years pursuant to § 132 BAO and § 212 UGB.
Security of data processing
We implement technical and organisational measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR. Data transmission is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).
Your rights as a data subject
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 Abs. 3 GDPR). Please contact hallo@1020.dev.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Austrian Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, phone +43 1 52 152-0, e-mail dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
